Real Wedding

Two cultures, one celebration

Tatiana and Joseph created a wedding that reflected both of their backgrounds. Joseph’s Lebanese roots and Tatiana’s Ukrainian heritage came together in a destination celebration attended by guests from Lebanon, Ukraine and the United States.

The wedding took place at Banyan Tree Cabo Marqués, with floral design by Jose Weck Rent & Deco and a musical program that moved between international styles throughout the night.

Multicultural Design

A wedding shaped by identity rather than a single tradition

The celebration did not try to reduce the couple to one aesthetic or one musical language. Instead, the evening allowed different cultural references to coexist naturally.

That approach is especially effective for destination weddings where guests are traveling from several countries and each side of the family brings its own traditions.

Music

A playlist designed across cultures

Clazzic DJ managed a music program that blended styles for a highly international guest list. The night also included a live performance by Hadrian Batuhan on an Arabic ethnic instrument.

Polina Diorditsa’s violin performance added another live element to the celebration, helping the event move between elegance, cultural identity and party energy.

Personal Connection

A wedding that became personally meaningful

The original story notes a special connection between Polina and Tatiana through their shared Ukrainian background. Speaking the same language created a more personal relationship around the wedding.

That detail is a reminder that the strongest vendor relationships are often not only logistical—they can also help the couple feel understood.

From the Violin Mexico Journal
For a multicultural wedding, music can do more than entertain. It can help different families recognize themselves in the celebration while still creating one cohesive night.
